LA FONT





This is a very stylish Mallorcan house hidden away in tropical gardens with a gated driveway, just a short drive or country walk from the historic old town of Pollença. Villa Font d'en Borras is on the edge of the beautiful mountains of La Sierrra de Sant Vicenç in the residential area of La Font.

The house and gardens are incredibly private - behind gates and surrounded by tall trees. A winding path leads from the back of the house down to the pool. This part of the garden is a rocky Mediterranean garden planted with cacti and agaves. There's a sun-terrace around the pool and lots of shade here too from tall palms and olive trees. A covered barbecue-oven in this part of the garden makes this a lovely place for spending lazy evenings as well as long hot days.

The house is built of local stone and inside it's a modern design based on traditional Mallorcan materials - terracotta-tiled floors, white walls and high beamed ceilings. The lounge and dining room is a grand and comfortable space, with a long dining table, extra-large sofas and arched stone windows all along one side looking out over the gardens. There's a very well planned kitchen with appliances including a dishwasher and lots of cupboard space. There's also a separate utility area at the front of the house.

There are three bedrooms at the villa, all with air-conditioning. In the main part of the house there are two twin rooms. They share a bathroom with a shower and a half-bath. The third bedroom is also a twin room with an en-suite shower bathroom. It's separate from the main house, up its own outside staircase. This could be a romantic hideaway or a private space for teenagers! This is an incredibly private and peaceful villa with an amazing garden. There's lots of space here to spend the day swimming, cooking and relaxing. It's also close to the old town of Pollença - an easy twenty minute day-time walk. All the beaches, shops and cafes of Puerto Pollença are also just a short drive from here.
